The North Shore Knights beat the Nesconset Panthers 14-2 on Tuesday night to finish the regular season with an impressive 14 wins and only 2 losses. The Knights are hot! The win marked their 8th in a row heading into the playoffs on August 5th.
Jake Persichilli earned the win for the Knights. The righty gave up only one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out three Panthers.
Striking first, the Knights scored a run in the bottom of the first inning. Max Kemnitzer walked, Frankie Rodrigues singled to left, and Ryan O’Shea walked to load the bases. Jake Persichilli’s RBI walk brought in the first run for the Knights. After Jake Persichilli pitched another scoreless inning, the Knights jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Max Kemnitzer’s single to left field scoring Angelo Simonelli who reached base earlier in the inning after getting hit by a pitch on his hand.
The gates opened in the bottom of the 3rd for the Knights as they scored eight runs to make it 10-0. Ryan O’Shea and Luca Ierano drew walks to get the inning started. Jake Persichilli then roped a ball to left field to drive in O’Shea. Next, Lucian Othman continued his hot hitting with a shot to left field for a stand up triple which cleared the bases bringing in Ierano and Persichilli. Consecutive walks by the two Johns, John Simonelli and John Considine, loaded the bases once again. Angelo Simonelli’s ground ball to second brought in Othman before Kai Ramalho’s line drive base hit to left scored John Simonelli to make it 7-0 Knights. Noah Catandella grounded out to third scoring Considine to increase the lead to 8-0. Continuing his hot hitting, Max Kemnitzer hit a line drive to left center to score Ramalho. The Knights were not done. Sniffing another double digit run game, Frankie Rodrigues hit a laser double to right center bringing in Max Kemnitzer from first base.
The Knights were in the mood for another run rule win. Since the Panthers pushed two runs across in the top of the 4th, the Knights needed four runs to take the game in the bottom of the inning. After Ryan O’Shea walked to lead off the inning, Luca Ierano nicely drove an outside strike past the right fielder for a two run home run blast. Jake Perischilli and Lucian Othman then got their second hits of the game before John Simonelli followed with a walk. Needing two more runs to finish the game, John Considine’s ground out to the pitcher brought in Persichilli and Angelo Simonelli’s ground ball to shortstop brought in Lucian Othman to give the Knights the 14-2 run rule win.
This has been an amazing season for the Knights. But, they are not done. They look forward to their playoff game on Saturday to get one step closer to a summer championship.

Jeremy Katz’s shutout led the North Shore Knights to a 10-0 victory over the Vikings on Monday night. Jeremy struck out 10 batters, allowing only four hits and zero walks. Jeremy was dominant on the mound throwing 52 strikes of his 59 pitches. Katz lowered his ERA to 1.068 with a .814 WHIP on the season.
North Shore Knights got on the board in the top of the third inning. Lucian Othman was hit in the back with a pitch to start the inning before Angelo Simonelli’s perfectly placed sacrifice bunt put Lucian in scoring position with the game scoreless. TJ Lombardo showed no signs of vacation jet lag with his scorching double to right center bringing in Othman for the 1-0 lead. Consecutive singles by Frankie Rodrigues and Jeremy Katz loaded the bases for the Knights. With an RBI walk, Ryan O’Shea reached base while Lombardo came around to score. Next, an error at shortstop on Luca Ierano’s ground ball scored Rodrigues extending the lead to 3-0. Max Kemnitzer then singled to left to score Katz making it 4-0 Knights.
After Katz shut down the Vikings in the bottom of the third, the Knights struck for five runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. Three straight singles by Jake Persichilli, John Simonelli, and Lucian Othman got the inning started. Othman’s hit drove in Persichilli. TJ Lombardo’s single then brought in John Simonelli. After Frankie Rodrigues walked, the Knights had the bases loaded again, setting the stage for Jeremy Katz’s two run double to left field. After Katz’s blast, Ryan O’Shea’s sacrifice fly scored Frankie from third putting the Knights up a commanding 9-0.
The Vikings put two runners on base in the bottom of the fourth with no outs, but two strikeouts and a put out at shortstop ended their attempt at a rally. Thirsty for their tenth run in the top of the 5th to end the game, the Knights came through as they have all season. Max Kemnitzer led off with a walk, Noah Catandella singled on a line drive to center, Jake Persichilli walked, and John Simonelli’s RBI walk scored Kemnitzer for the 10-0 run rule win.
North Shore Knights’ bats were hot again, amassing 12 hits in the game. Jeremy led North Shore Knights with three hits in three at bats. Ryan O’Shea, Jeremy Katz, and TJ Lombardo each drove in two runs for North Shore Knights. Noah Catandella collected two hits for North Shore Knights in three at bats. Ryan O’Shead led North Shore Knights with two walks.
The Knights were sharp defensively all game. Dominating pitching, timely hitting, and getting dirty on defense equaled another Line Em Up win. The Knights moved to 13-2 on the season. They will close their regular season on August 1st vs. Nesconset Panthers.

The 12 and 2 North Shore Knights took Thursday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 14-13 walk-off victory over the Cougars at the Central Islip Ball Field Complex. The game was tied at 13 in the bottom of the sixth when Noah Catandella singled in Jeremy Katz to win the game for the Knights.
North Shore Knights opened the scoring in the first inning after Jeremy Katz doubled home Max Kemnitzer who got the inning started with a single. After the Cougars tied the game in the top of the second inning, the Knights took the lead in the bottom half. With two outs in the inning, Lucian Othman got the rally started with his single to center. John Simonelli and TJ Lombardo followed with singles before Max Kemnitzer drove in John Simonelli with a line drive to left. With the score at 2-1 and the bases loaded, Jeremy Katz tripled to deep left clearing the bases bringing in Angelo Simonelli, TJ Lombardo, and Max Kemnitzer.
After a rough top of the 4th inning, the Cougars took a 10-5 lead but the Knights continued to fight. Once again, Lucian Othman got it all started with a leadoff infield single. After Frankie Rodrigues walked, Max Kemnitzer struck again with a double to left center that brought in Othman and Rodrigues to cut the lead to 10-7. The Cougars decided to intentionally walk Jeremy Katz to bring up Ryan O’Shea. They must not know Ryan can hit, too. O’Shea’s drive to left field scored Kemnitzer and Katz to cut the lead to 10-9.
Following a scoreless top of the 5th, the Knights wanted the lead. Noah Catandella led off the inning with a base hit to center and John Simonelli walked. To the plate, Lucian Othman who was 2 for 2 on the day. After fighting off a few pitches, Lucian Othman hit a bomb triple over the left fielder’s head easily scoring Jake Persichilli and John Simonelli. The Knights then grabbed the 11-10 lead. Angelo Simonelli’s turn. He reached base on an infield single leading to Frankie Rodrigues’ sacrifice fly driving in Lucian Othman from third base.
Though the Cougars took a 13-12 lead in the top of the 6th, the Knights were gritty and could taste their first walk off victory. Max Kemnitzer, 4 for 4 on the day, smoked a line drive to left field to lead off the inning and took second base on a weak throw in from the outfield. Once again, the Cougars intentionally walked Jeremy Katz. You never put the winning run on with no outs especially when all the Knights are swinging hot bats. Oh well. Next, Ryan O’Shea drew a walk to load the bases. Luca Ierano wanted a piece of the action, too. His infield hit brought in Kemnitzer to tie the game setting the stage for Noah Catandella. On a 1-1 pitch, Noah Catandella’s base hit to left field brought in Jeremy Katz to win it for the Knights! What a win!
Max Kemnitzer earned the win for North Shore Knights. He gave up four hits and five earned runs over three innings, striking out four.
The Knights will take on the 9-3 Vikings on Monday night in a must watch game. The Knights need one win in their final two games to lock up the second seed in the playoffs giving them a bye to the semifinals. Let’s go!

Down 5-0 early in the game, the North Shore Knights rallied to top the Islip Owls, 8-5 on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Central Islip Ballfield Complex. With the win, the Knights are 8-2 on the summer season.
After the Owls jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first, the Knights pushed a run across in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-1. Frankie Rodrigues got the inning going with a base hit to right field before Ryan O’Shea’s double brought him in.
In the bottom of the third, the Knights narrowed Islip’s lead to 5-3. Frankie Rodrigues walked to start off the inning strong. After two fly outs, Max Kemnitzer reached on an infield error pushing Frankie to third base. With second and third, Jake Persichilli continued his hot hitting with runners in scoring position. His line drive to left field brought in Rodrigues and Kemnitzer.
Keeping the Owls at bay with his dominant pitching, Jeremy Katz kept the Knights focused on winning this game. After another 1-2-3 inning by Katz, the Knights struck for four runs in the bottom of the 4th to give them the lead that they would cling onto for the win. Angelo Simonelli was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning before Lucian Othman’s single made it first and second putting pressure on the Owls’ pitcher. Kai Ramalho came to the plate, perfectly dropped a bunt in front of the catcher, and beat the throw to first to load the bases. Kai’s bunt turned out to shift the momentum. TJ Lombardo then hit a deep sacrifice fly to left field to score Angelo Simonelli. On an errant throw to the plate, Lucian Othman hustled around third to score tying the game. The Knights were not done. Frankie Rodrigues followed with a walk before Jeremy Katz’s single on a fly ball to left center brought Kai Ramalho and Rodrigues home.
After Jeremy Katz struck out the side in the top of the 5th, the Knights scored their eighth run of the game. In the inning, Max Kemnitzer, Jake Persichilli, and John Simonelli all singled. Angelo Simonelli’s grounder to second brought in Persichilli to make it 8-5 which proved to be the final score.
Jeremy Katz had his best stuff and earned the win for the Knights. He gave up only one hit and zero runs in five and two thirds of an inning on the mound. He struck out 13 Owls! Notably, Jeremy did not walk one batter, faced only 19 hitters, and only threw 58 pitches to shut down the Owls.
The second place Knights moved to 8-2 on the season. They will face the Long Island Mudcats in a twin bill on Sunday. Two wins will clinch another playoff berth in consecutive seasons for the Knights.

The Knights moved to 7-2 on the summer season after defeating the hard hitting 6-3-1 Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms, 18-15. John Simonelli led the charge at the plate driving in four runs on three hits to lead the Knights past BBP Phantoms on their home turf. Simonelli singled in the first scoring one, walked in the second scoring one, singled in the fourth scoring one, and singled in the fifth scoring one.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as North Shore Knights collected 17 hits and BBP Phantoms added 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. After the BBP Phantoms jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning, North Shore Knights flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on five hits to take a 7-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Jeremy Katz off the left field wall that drove in two. In the inning, the first seven Knights reached base. Max Kemnitzer, Luca Ierano, Jeremy Katz, Jake Persichilli, and John Simonelli reached on hits while TJ Lombardo and Ryan O’Shea walked.
North Shore Knights added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after John Simonelli walked, Angelo Simonelil hit into a fielder's choice, and John Considine walked, each scoring one run. In the bottom of the third, with two outs in the inning, Max Kemnitzer doubled on a line drive in the right center gap before Ryan O’Shea’s single gave the Knights the lead, 11-10.
The Phantoms struck back and took the lead in the top of the fourth, 14-11, but the Knights were not done. They scored five runs in the bottom of the inning. The biggest blow was a double by TJ Lombardo driving in John Considine and Lucian Othman. Luca Ierano, John Simonelli, and Angelo Simonelli added clutch hits in the inning.
Max Kemnitzer earned the win for North Shore Knights. The righty gave up three hits and three earned runs over two innings, striking out two. Jake Persichilli led things off on the bump for North Shore Knights. The starting pitcher threw strikes consistently. He gave up eight hits and seven earned runs over three innings, striking out three. In the top of the sixth inning, as the Phantoms were precisely playing Timmy Trumpets Narco song, Jeremy Katz entered the game and shut the door on the Phantoms and their music, allowing one hit and striking out two before a ground out to Ryan O’Shea and a great scoop by Luca Ierano at first base ended it.
In all, the North Shore Knights collected 17 hits in the game. Jeremy Katz, Luca Ierano, and John Simonelli each collected three hits for the 7-2 Knights. Ryan O’Shea and Max Kemnitzer each collected two hits on the night. Once again, Lucian Othman was a force behind the plate keeping the Phantom runners in place all game. The Knights will face the 4-3 Islip Owls on Thursday, July 20th. Let’s go!

Luca Ierano and Ryan O’Shea didn’t allow a single hit as North Shore Knights defeated the Central Islip Cougars, 14-2. Luca Ierano got the win for the Knights surrendering one run over five innings, striking out five. Luca was dominant on the mound keeping the Cougars off balance all night. No more vacations for the Ieranos! Ryan O’Shea pitched the sixth inning for the Knights to close out the victory.
The Knights got going in the top of the third inning. Angelo Simonelli led off the inning with a walk. After he stole second and advanced to third on Lucian Othman’s ground out, Simonelli came home to score on TJ Lombardo’s base hit giving the Knights a 1-0 lead. After Lombardo advanced to second on the throw home to attempt to nail Simonelli, Max Kemnitzer’s single drove in Lombardo to give the Knights a 2-0 lead. After Noah Catandella walked, Luca Ierano’s single to right brought in Kemnitzer and Catandella, stretching the lead to 4-0. Up comes Ryan O’Shea who had three hits on the day. O’Shea struck a double to right to bring in Ierano expanding the Knights lead to 5-0. Frankie Rodrigues continued the hot hitting in the inning with a single to center to bring in O’Shea. 6-0 Knights!
After Ierano mowed down the Cougars in the bottom of the third, Lucian Othman doubled to left field in the top of the fourth to start it up for the Knights. TJ Lombardo followed with a double of his own to make it 7-0 Knights. After the Cougars scored one run in the bottom of the 4th, the Knights came back to score two runs in the top of the 5th to extend the lead to 9-1. Ryan O’Shea doubled before Frankie Rodrigues singled to right to drive him in. After Jake Persichilli walked to keep the inning going, John Considine hit a line drive to left field to bring in Rodrigues to make it 9-1.
The eight run lead was not enough for the Knights heading into the 6th. TJ Lombardo, Max Kemnitzer, and Noah Catandella reached on Cougar errors before Luca Ierano doubled home Kemnitzer and Catandella to make it 12-1. After Ryan O’Shea’s single to left, Jake Persichilli hit a scorching line drive to left field to bring in Ierano and O’Shea for the 14-1 lead.
Defensively, Frankie Rodrigues flashed the leather making three solid plays in the middle infield and John Simonelli caught a fly ball in left pausing a Cougars’ threat. The Knights tallied 14 hits in the game. O’Shea, Lombardo, Rodrigues, and Kemnitzer each collected multiple hits for the Knights.
The Knights moved to 6-1 on the season and will play the Hauppauge Eagles on July 14th. A game not to miss. Let’s go Knights!

Jeremy Katz once again brought the heat to the mound on Tuesday night, throwing a shutout, striking out ten Panthers and only surrendering two hits and one walk.
The Knights continued their streak of starting off the game hot in the first inning, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning. Noah Catandella led off the game with a base hit between third and short. Catandella stole second and then moved to third on Ryan O’Shea’s ground ball to second. Jeremy Katz’s line drive base hit to center then drove in Catandella to give the Knights the early 1-0 lead. Luca Ierano followed with a single to short. On a throwing error, Katz came around to score to make it 2-0.
After Katz quickly retired the Panthers in the bottom of the first, the Knights pushed a run home in the top of the second when Angelo Simonelli crossed the plate after an errant throw back to the pitcher. The Knights later exploded for seven runs in the top of the third inning. Frankie Rodrigues and Ryan O’Shea led the inning off with walks. After Jeremy Katz reached on an error, Rodrigues scored to make it 4-0. Luca Ierano roped a single to center driving in Ryan O’Shea extending the lead to 5-0. Max Kemnitzer then placed a bunt in front of the plate bringing in Jeremy Katz. Next, Angelo Simonelli stayed hot hitting a line drive to center field scoring Luca Ierano and Max Kemnitzer. 8 to 0 Knights! After John Simonelli’s base hit to deep short, John Considine singled to third base to drive in Angelo Simonelli. John didn’t want his brother to be the only Simonelli to score on the play so he aggressively came around third on the low throw to first base. This put the Knights up a commanding 10-0.
After Jeremy Katz struck out the side in the bottom of the third, the Knights were still hungry in the top of the fourth. Ryan O’Shea’s triple to deep right center led off the inning before Jeremy Katz doubled him in. Luca Ierano singled to center field setting the stage for the 12th and final run for the Knights when Max Kemnitzer singled to left field driving in Jeremy Katz.
The Knights tallied 13 hits on the day. Luca Ierano and Max Kemnitzer each had three hits to lead the team. Jeremy Katz also had multiple hits adding two to the total. Noah Catandella was solid defensively for the Knights in center field. Lucian Othman and Jeremy Katz were great battery mates keeping the Panthers on their toes with various pitches throughout the game.
The Knights sit atop the standings at 5-0. They will face the West Warriors on Tuesday, July 6th. Let’s go!

The North Shore Knights moved to 4-0 with two big wins against the Long Island Junior Ducks on Sunday, winning Game 1 by the score of 21-1 and Game 2 18-0.
In Game 1, the Knights exploded in the top of the first for twelve runs after Jake Persichilli struck out the side in the top of the inning. TJ Lombardo led off the inning with a base hit before Frankie Rodrigues’ double drove him in for the early lead. After Ryan O’Shea singled, Jeremy Katz’s three run homer put the Knights up 4-0. Luca Ierano and Max Kemnitzer followed with singles and Noah Catandella walked. Kemnitzer’s single brought in Ierano to make it 5-0. Kemnitzer later stole home to make it 6-0 Knights. John Simonelli’s single then brought in Catandella to make it 7-0. The Knights weren’t done. Lucian Othman hit a line drive base hit to left before John Considine, Angelo Simonelli, and TJ Lombardo walked to bring the lead to 9-0. Frankie Rodigues’ ground out made it 10-0 driving in John Considine before Ryan O’Shea singled in Angelo Simonelli extending the lead to 11-0. TJ Lombardo scored when Jeremy Katz reached on an error to make it 12-0.
The Knights kept it going in the bottom of the second inning. Max Kemnitzer and Noah Catandella opened the inning with walks before Jake Persichilli’s single brought in Kemnitzer. John Simonelli then brought in Catandella to give the Knights a commanding 14-1 lead. Lucian Othman later drove in Jake to bring the lead to 15-1. Following a single by John Considine and a walk to Angelo Simonelli, TJ Lombardo’s infield fly brought in Othman to make it 16-1. Frankie Rodrigues stayed hot with a single to center driving in Considine before Ryan O’Shea’s ground ball brought in Angelo Simonelli to strengthen the lead to 18-1. Jeremy Katz’s three run homer sealed the game at 21-1.
Jake Persichilli was strong on the mound for the Knights. He allowed only one hit, zero earned runs, and struck out six Ducks for his first win of the season.
In Game 2, the Knights showed no mercy on the Ducks. In his first start on the mound, Ryan O’Shea was dominant throwing a no hitter, striking out six Ducks and allowing no hits and no runs.
In the top of the first inning, the Knights scored 15 runs! The Knights opened the inning with two hits with TJ Lombardo’s single and Frankie Rodrigues’ double giving the Knights a 1-0 lead. Deja vu! Ryan O’Shea and Jeremy Katz reached on errors which drove in Frankie Rodrigues to make it 2-0. Max Kemnitzer’s single to center drove in Ryan O’Shea to make it 3-0. Luca Ierano and Noah Catandella followed with back to back singles which brought in Jeremy Katz and Max Kemnitzer bolstering the lead to 5-0. Lucian Othman continued his hot hitting with a double to left scoring in Luca Ierano to give the Knights a 6-0 lead. John Simonelli’s ground ball to second then drove in Catandella. Later in the inning, John Considine singled again to drive in John Simonelli to make it 9-0. After Angelo Simonelli and Dylan Martella walked, TJ Lombardo’s strike to left center cleared the bases with his first career grand slam. Never seen a kid run so fast around the bases. The Knights were now cruising at 13-0. Frankie Rodrigues got things started again with a double before Ryan O’Shea hammered a homerun to center making it 15-0.
After an easy bottom of the first for Ryan O’Shea who struck out two of the three batters he shut down, the Knights scored two more runs in the bottom of the second. Luca Ierano led off with a homerun to right field to keep the momentum. After Noah Catandella doubled to right, John Simonelli’s line drive single to left brought Noah in to make it 17-0. In the top of the third inning, on a 3-2 count, Angelo Simonelli homered to right field to make it 18-0 Knights which proved to be the final score. The chants of Angelo, Angelo, Angelo still ring at Flynn.
The Knights sit at the top of the standings at 4-0 and play Nesconset on Tuesday night! Let’s go NSK!
North Shore Knights defeated the Islip Owls 5-2 on Thursday night bolstering their record to 2-0.
Luca Ierano threw a gem on the mound for the Knights, lasting five innings allowing only two hits and zero earned runs while striking out five. Jeremy Katz closed the door for his first save striking out all three batters he faced in the sixth inning.
The Knights took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. TJ Lombardo was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, stole second and third before Frankie Rodrigues drove him in with a ground out to first. In the top of the second, the Knights extended their lead to 2-0 after Jake Persichilli doubled to left field driving in Max Kemnitzer who walked earlier in the inning. In the bottom of the inning, with the Owls threatening, Lucian Othman threw out a runner attempting to steal third taking the air out of the Owls’ charge.
With the game tied at 2-2 in the top of the fourth inning, Jake Persichilli drew a bases loaded walk to score Luca Ierano who walked earlier in the inning moving the score to 3-2. Lucian Othman once again looked like Yadier Molina in the bottom of the third. After a wild pitch, he picked up the ball and gunned out another runner stealing third.
In the bottom of the fifth with the game still at 3-2, an Owl hit a line drive to right field but Johnny Simonelli made a diving shoestring catch to keep the game in hand. The next Owls hitter hit a ball to the left of the third but Ryan O’Shea continued his solid fielding by cutting the hit off and firing across the diamond to throw out the runner.
The Knights added two runs in the top of the sixth with back to back doubles by Ryan O’Shea and Jeremy Katz. Noah Catandella then drove in Katz with a base hit to right field.
The Knights will play the Ducks in a doubleheader on Sunday looking to go to 4-0.

North Shore Knights 13, West Warriors 5
The North Shore Knights got things started in the bottom of the second inning when Luca Ierano and Max Kemnitzer led off the inning with walks. Jake Persichilli’s single to center then drove in Ierano. John Simonelli’s hustle paid off as he beat out a infield base hit driving in Max Kemnitzer to extend the lead to 2-0.
After the West Warriors tied the game at 2 in the top of the third, the Knights struck back in the bottom of the inning. TJ Lombardo led off the inning with a line drive base hit to center before Frankie Rodrigues perfectly placed a sacrifice bunt to put Lombardo in scoring position. After Ryan O’Shea singled to second base, Jeremy Katz hit a bomb line drive triple to center driving in Lombardo and O’Shea to give the Knights a 4-2 lead. Katz later scored to give the Knights a 5-2 lead when the Warriors attempted to throw out Luca Ierano stealing second. Noah Catandella’s line drive double then drove in Luca Ierano to extend the lead to 6-2.
After the Warriors tightened the game to a 6-4 score, the North Shore Knights scored seven runs in the fifth to cement a 13-5 victory. In the inning, Jeremy Katz and Luca Ierano hit two consecutive doubles before Max Kemnitzer hit a triple to center. The three hits extended the lead to 8-4. Jake Persichilli struck again hitting a triple to center making it 9-4. Kai Ramalho’s line drive single to center drove in Persichilli to make it 10-4. Following a walk to Lucian Othman and another hit by TJ Lombardo, Frankie Rodrigues came to the plate with the bases juiced. With a 2-2 count, Frankie drove a shot to right field just inside the line to clear the bases making it 13-4 Knights.
Max Kemnitzer took the win for the North Shore Knights. Max allowed six hits and four runs over four and a third innings, striking out three. Luca Ierano entered in the fifth inning with the bases loaded and closed the door on the Warriors earning his first save of the season.
North Shore Knights tallied 14 hits on the day. TJ Lombardo, Jeremy Katz, Ryan O’Shea, and Jake Persichilli each had multiple hits for North Shore Knights. The Knights shined defensively. Two highlights were Lucian Othman picking off a Warrior at first base in a tight situation up only 6-4. The play deflated the Warriors. In the bottom of the sixth, Ryan O’Shea made a nice play at third, stepped on the bag, and fired across the diamond to execute a double play ending all Warriors’ hopes.
